This book is a retrospective of her activity since student days, in which she sets out to document the various phases of her work, her influences and how this is reflected in the development over the years.

TIME THAT MOVES IN CIRCLES
TIME COUNTED IN STRAIGHT LINES
This book has been inspired by my studio practice, in that it explores the schism between the cyclical path of the earth around the sun and the social constructs of linear time as measured by calendars and clocks. Based upon the 52 weeks of 2013, each week is illustrated with a drawing, sketch or print. The images are accompanied by a short text containing entries related not only to calendar and clock time but also relevant anniversaries, traditional festivals and brief notes on the local flora and fauna. It also contains monthly images of my cast shadow as I stood looking northwards, demonstrating the change in the Earth’s position in relation to the sun.
The book, as reported in the Cornish Guardian, was privately published at the end of 2016, and as a limited edition of only 150 copies, each one has been signed and numbered. The price is £18 including £5 P&P. (Postage quoted for uk only, price on asking).
